Urgent: Help stop cuts to the 53 bus route

Thousands rely on the 53 bus service that runs from Plumstead to Whitehall. For many, the 53 is their only means of affordable public transport.

More often than not, the 53 is overcrowded by the time it gets up the hill to Charlton from Woolwich. We need more services on this route, not cuts.

Transport for London is launching a consultation on proposed cuts to London’s buses. I believe they need to abandon their proposed cuts to the 53 bus service. I need your support to show how many residents of Greenwich and Woolwich oppose their plans.

Greenwich and Woolwich

I represent the parliamentary constituency of Greenwich and Woolwich (which covers parts but not all of the Royal Borough of Greenwich). The constituency is made up of the communities of Woolwich, Charlton, Greenwich and parts of Blackheath and Plumstead, each of which retain their own distinct character and community spirit.
